Web server service

The service provides support for deploying applications that will use the following web servers: NGINX, Tomcat, Apache httpd. Web server services are currently provided as part of platform buildpacks.

Application load balancer service

The service provides the functionality of so-called horizontal scaling and load balancing.

Cache and data-grid service

A service for centrally predictably scaling applications through in-memory access to frequently used data and over an elastically scalable data network. These techniques reduce query load on databases and improve response speed. An example of a service is the use of a key-value store (Redis), which can be found in the Data Layer Services section.
